April Favourite's

Sorry it's been so quiet on the ol' blog front, I've had a pretty crap couple of weeks, what with contracting Bronchitis then crashing my car all while starting a new job, it's been a rough old time.

But on the bright side, I'm going to Portugal for a week next Saturday. Sun, sand, sea and cocktails, it's a hard old life but I bloody need this holiday and on another positive note, with being ill (I know not the best way to lose weight, I've lost over a stone!

Anyway as we are fast approaching the end of April (where the bloody hell is 2015 going?) I thought I would discuss my favourite things from April.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

Holy moly, this stuff is good, I used to use "They're Real" by Benefit but Roller Lash is in a whole new different league, it's light weight, not clumpy, gives your lashes unbelievable length while also still being build-able to your personal preference of volume. It comes in a cute little container with a lid like a hair roller and the brush is curved so its catches all of your lashes while still giving great volume.

Primark's S/S 15 Range

With quite a few high street retailers at the moment, I'm unfortunately pretty disappointed with their S/S 15 ranges, especially the current fascination with aztec MC Hammer trousers. But Primark are on the proverbial car bonnet, their range of cutesy tea dresses for under a tenner is unreal and as you full well know, I am quite the fan of the old clumpy black ugly shoes and Primark know exactly how to supply. If you haven't checked out Primark recently, do so.

Lush's POP Gift Set

My old colleagues at 111 were kind enough to arrange a little collection before I left, as they know me so well they all chipped in to get me a Lush gift card, as you can imagine I was like a pig in mud receiving this. So I popped down to my local Lush store and one of the lovely members of staff recommended me to try the Lush POP Gift Set. For £35.95 and 10 lovely bath bombs in the set, who am I to say no? The set contains two of my number one favourite bath bombs "Granny Takes a Dip" and "Fizzbanger", but also includes favourites such as Twilight, Avobath and Sex Bomb. It all comes tied up in a lovely box which can also be used to store any other products after you've used the set, pretty damn good investment if you ask me.

Game of Thrones

Now I won't post any spoilers on here, but I am a bit of a GOT fan girl, I've read all of the books and I watch the TV series, but GOT season 5 has finally landed and it's good. I am thoroughly enjoying how they have adapted the books in this season compared to season 4, plus Daario Naharis always helps to look at.

Netflix - Daredevil

Daaaaaamn son! Daredevil is insane, I had my reservations as I didn't really enjoy the Daredevil film but decided to look upon the tv series as a separate entity. It's incredibly well written, dark, witty, the character development is fantastic and has been cast really well. I can fully understand why some people have binge watched all 13 episodes in one sitting. With Netflix having an array of Netflix Original Marvel Tv spin offs lined up, life is looking pretty swell.

I will have a bit more of an update next Monday for my holiday themed blog post so stay tuned!

All my love,

Bex
