Rebecca Slade - The Beginning

Hey all, thanks for arriving at my first blog post, the origins of Rebecca Slade. As you may have figured out my name is Bex, a twenty three year old female who is actually mentally about seventy years old. My wild nights consist of snuggling up with my boyfriend, reading a good book, watching films and catching up with the latest video games. I have been dating my boyfriend for the past six years now, safe to say being a female with a hulk like mental transition, he has put up with some crap from me. No, there is no marriage or children on the horizon, personally being only twenty three I am in no rush. However we are currently saving for a mortgage for our very first humble abode.

I work full time for the NHS as a Health Advisor for nearly two years, as much as I love my job, and it is incredibly rewarding helping save lives, I decided I wanted to divert my free time to being more creative and extrovert. I've followed a few blogs for a while from Helen Anderson, Leanne Lim Walker, Sammy Maria (The Beauty Crush) and Leanne Woodfull and thought you know what? If these girls can do it, so can I! They are the sort of girls that I admire, not afraid to be open with their thoughts and ideas, and just embrace the moment. 

Now you guys will shortly learn I can be very opinionated, I suffer with chronic bitch face and am a bit of a Lush addict (seriously guys its getting to the stage of needing rehab). I would love you all to join me in discussing and exploring, hair products and styles, beauty products, my personal style (bit of a grunge, rock 'n' roll kinda gal) and lifestyle (big and small). From relationship advice, heath and fitness advice and how to go about getting a mortgage and your first home (woo!)

Now that I've rambled for a significant amount of time and I do hope you are all still conscious, I will love you and leave you.

I hope you have all got a reasonable understanding of who I am, what I do and what my blog is about and look forward to having lots of rants, ramblings and gossip.
